Julie Simpson , Principal Associate Consultant
Julie has over twenty-four years experience in the sport and leisure industry, having spent the last thirteen years in senior management positions. As an ex-public sector Chief Officer with a background in leisure, sports, arts, grounds maintenance and green spaces services, including children's play, Julie is an established and strategic thinker, with a demonstrable track record of delivery.
Julie has a wide range of skills that have been successfully applied in a variety of contexts, such as strategic and service planning, facility design and development, project management, National Lottery and other external funding projects, procurement and contract management, tender evaluation, operational and management reviews. A fully qualified PRINCE2 practitioner with an exceptional track record, Julie's previous work has resulted in sustainable improvements to the profile of Cultural and Leisure Services through her development of high profile, customer focused programmes and facilities. She is a highly experienced, credible and valuable member of the Continuum team.
